Community First have been asked by Wiltshire Council to help set up an Independent Parent Carer Forum. The group will be led by the Wiltshire Council All Age Carers Commissioner (WCAACC). It will be a couple of hours a month online, to give feedback to Wiltshire Council on their strategies, and other important decisions for Parent Carers in Wiltshire. We are looking for between 6-8 Wiltshire based parent carers.

We would need:

  • your name
  • details of the person you care for
  • which area of Wiltshire you live in
  • and what community group you are already a member of

This is a must as we need members to be willing to form a working group. The members will speak on behalf of parent carers in Wiltshire as a whole, not just speak about their own experiences.

Please express your interest by Friday 4 October by emailing jo.hiller-culley@carerstogetherwiltshire.org.uk (opens new window)
