We are delighted to announce that Carers Together Wiltshire are hosting a series of Carers Roadshows across Wiltshire throughout this Autumn.
All unpaid carers in Wiltshire are invited to come along to find out more about the new support service for unpaid Carers in Wiltshire. At the Carers Roadshow they will be able to hear about:
- the support provided by Carers Together Wiltshire for unpaid carers
- carers assessments and how to access this help
- our dedicated Parent Carers and Young Adult Carer services
- the new Carers ID card provided by Carer Friendly Wiltshire
- digital support groups and online resources
Everyone at the Roadshow will be given the opportunity to share their thoughts, and needs, around the type of community events they'd like to see in their local area for unpaid Carers. The feedback will help shape how we continue to provide a carer friendly community in Wiltshire, and we are keen to hear the voices of all kinds of unpaid Carers, so please do encourage them to come along so that their thoughts are heard.
We currently have the following events in place:
- Monday 7 October - Warminster Civic Centre 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- Thursday 17 October - Trowbridge - St Johns Parish Centre 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- Friday 18 October - Salisbury - SP2 Community Centre 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- Tuesday 29 October - Tidworth Civic Centre 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- Wednesday 30 October - Marlborough Scout Hut 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- Monday 11 November - Devizes - The Nursteed Community Centre 1.30pm to 3.30pm
- Friday 15 November - Melksham - Rachel Fowler Centre 1.30pm to 3.30pm

Wiltshire Carer Support Carer Cafés
Wiltshire Carer Support are an independent charity who provide support to carers in Wiltshire. They are not part of the current commissioned offer as of 2024 but continue to support Wiltshire residents. They offer carer cafés in areas and times that may not be covered by Carers Together.
