What to expect
Wiltshire Employment Support Team and the SEND Employment forum working to be ambitious in moving young people with special educational needs and disabilities into work.
A reverse jobs fair is an event for Job seekers/young people to showcase their skills, experience, talents and aspirations. Explaining to potential employers why they would be a good fit for a job role. However, rather than employers taking the lead, the onus is on the job seekers/young people to set up individual stalls to highlight their skills and abilities.
Young people create display boards to promote their skills and experience and arrange meet-and-greets with a variety of employers.
A reverse jobs fair provides Job seekers/young people with opportunities to develop their communication, confidence and networking skills, and are often the first time they have engaged with employers.
