New Independent Living Skills Courses

Family and Community Learning are delighted to be introducing some of our new single session Exploring courses at the Medley in August and we are running Smart courses in September and November.

Learners will bake their own cake in Exploring Baking.

Exploring Confidence in Communication supports learners to know what they can say to who, how and when, to boost confidence and safety when interacting with others.

Home Smart explores how our home can affect our wellbeing and looks at cleaning, storing food, and what to do when things go wrong.

Eat Smart delves into hygiene, nutrition, and how to adapt recipes to develop confidence and creativity in cooking.

All our courses support communication skills and independent living skills and provide a safe space for learners to grow.
